MC-04Verify consent and scrub lists before every outbound campaign
How Leela would run itEvent-driven · each outbound campaign, before launch; opt-outs as they arrive
From the policy libraryThe requirement
Before any campaign by telephone, text message, or email launches, the outbound list is reviewed for consent and suppression status: prior express consent for marketing calls to wireless numbers and prior express written consent for marketing texts, scrubbing against the internal do-not-contact list and the national do-not-call registry, and, for email, accurate headers, subject lines that do not mislead, a conspicuous unsubscribe mechanism, and a valid postal address. Opt-outs from texts are honored immediately and unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
